The Assassin's Wife

(A short film shot by Kirby Hamilton)

OrlandoFF_100Shot on the DVX & P&S adapter using Canon K35 motion picture lenses. Edited by THRE3. Fun but grueling shoot. Shot in the middle of summer so it was hot, hot, hot - and no AC. The house we shot in was undergoing a remodel job. The target practice sequence was shot in Lake City - the director - Dan Solomon - never handled a gun before and nearly put a bullet into his foot! The closing credit sequence was shot in my garage - we fogged it up and Dan and myself were soaking wet with sweat after shooting. The combination of the DVX and adapter gives a real nice film look to this project. This film is in distribution now - and has won at several film festivals. Thanks to Andy Howell for Lighting and Grip.
